Dr. Michael Alper co-founded Boston IVF in 1986. Board Certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, he completed his residency and fellowship in reproductive endocrinology/infertility at Harvard Medical School and the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Dr. Alper is also an Associate Clinical Professor at Harvard Medical School.

She completed her residency in OB/GYN at Albany Medical Center and her fellowship at Case Western Reserve University.

Michelle Cioffi, LPN has over 8 years of experience working in the fertility field. She works closely with our team of fertility doctors and assisting with IVF/IUI cycle plan coordination. She is an advocate for each of our patients, where she helps guide their care and education related to medications, treatment plan options and procedures.

Boston IVF’s national embryology laboratory Director, Dr. Barrett responsible for laboratory protocols, quality control – and has more than 30 years of experience working with oocytes and embryos. He completed postdoctoral studies at the University Of Colorado Medical School, concentrating on research in reproductive biology and the control of oocyte maturation.

Dr. Sakkas is the National Scientific Director of Boston IVF network. He has extensive experience in clinical IVF research and is internationally recognized for his work with investigating many aspects of gamete and embryo biology.

Marsha oversees the endocrine, andrology and embryology laboratories at our Albany Fertility Center. She holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Embryology from Leeds Medical School in England (one of the only schools in the world to offer a formal training in human embryology), a Master’s in Public Health.
